Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery requires up to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. Dr. Nail is a Texas state licensed physician and dentist and a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery. As an Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeon, Dr. Nail manages a wide variety of problems relating to the face, facial skeleton, and oral cavity.
He performs a full scope of Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgical procedures with expertise ranging from facial cosmetic surgery to corrective jaw surgery and removal of wisdom teeth. Additionally, Dr. Nail has extensive experience and interest in the fields of implant tooth replacement and advanced laser surgery, including laser treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Finally, Dr. Nail provides these services safely and comfortably using the latest in local and monitored intravenous anesthetic techniques.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at the Center for Facial and Oral Surgery are experienced oral and maxillo-facial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff, who are CPR certified, act under the direct supervision of Dr. Nail, who is advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified. The administrative personnel, in addition to being CPR certified as well, are also well versed in today's health and insurance policies.
