Patient Information

Background Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires 4-6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. In addition to this training, Dr. Nail also attended the University of Texaas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and is a licensed physician (medical doctor).  As a surgeon Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Nail manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Nail practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting.  Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Center for Facial & Oral Surgery. P.A. are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery.  Further, surgical assistants have received additional training and certifications ranging from the ”Oral and Maxillofacial Anesthesia Assisting Program” to the ”Dental Anesthesia Assistants Program”.  All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.  Additionally, Dr. Nail is Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified by the American Heart Association.
