Meet The Doctor
George A. Nail, M.D., D.D.S.
Dr. George A. Nail received his medical degree with honors from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He received his dental degree with honors from Baylor College of Dentistry, also in Dallas. He successfully completed his residency training program in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals progarm in Dallas, Texas. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, in addition to being a Texas state licensed Physician and Dentist.
Dr. Nail is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations including the American Assiciation of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons.
Dr. Nail is the director of the Center For Facial and Oral Surgery and the founder and director of the Southwest Society for Dental Implantology, a forum that provides continuing education to the North Texas Dental community in the exciting area of tooth replacement with dental implants.
In addition to his interest in oral rehabilitation and dental implantology, Dr. Nail practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, performing the removal of diseased teeth (including “wisdom teeth”), facial reconstructive procedures, laser treatement of snoring and sleep apnea, biopsy and removal of oral and facial lesions, and corrective jaw surgery. He maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at various area hospitals, and has dedicated himself to the surgical correction of facial and oral diseases, disharmonies, and imperfections.
Dr. Nail has been married since 1985 to the former Heather Kennedy and has three children, Chad, Brooke, and Andrew. He is very involved in his professional community, and he and his family are equally involved in their church activities and the community at large.
